In addition to the previous song I posted, this is the epitome of chill-out music, rhythmic slow beats that only seem to calm the heart and let it rest. I remember coming across all sorts of avenues of music in high school in the sole search for those perfect cinematic moments, mood-taken by those almost sacred tunes like the scene in Requiem for a Dream when Harry talks to Marion over the phone for the last time, or in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind when infatuated Joel leaves Clementine’s apartment to his car as the thick flakes of snow seem to be compliment that beautiful composition Jon Brion creates specifically for that moment. Although, most of my time is preoccupied I still search for those melodies that articulate the mood and pace of a mesmerizing moment.
